After twenty years, some of the FJ pieces have real color on them!! Had some time, and got a first coat on several pieces. For a first time, they turned out pretty good, only a few runs, and a few places that did not get quite a full cover, but all in all, I am pleased with it. The paint went a lot further than the primer did, so the first gallon I bought should be more than enough to finish the project, especially since I will get more adept at laying down the color with each attempt. I hung plastic sheeting around the work area, and laid cardboard down on the floor, creating a "paint booth" of sorts. It worked pretty well, the garage is not green, well except for a small bit of floor that, apparently, was not covered.
